SEPTEMBER LIE!!!

So, I was too busy camping, traveling, swimming, hiking, playing, cleaning, gardening, sun tanning, and babysitting, that I DID NOT get the awesome craft for this month ready. Now that summer is winding down for me, I will be working on next month's craft and posting it for you all to see. GNO will continue in OCTOBER...I hope!!!

JULY & AUGUST GNO

I've decided these months are not for indoors and crafts, they are for outdoors, yard work, camping, going to the park, swimming, 4-wheeling, hiking, rock climbing, tanning, gardening, going for walks, biking, and simply enjoying the fresh air:) Stay tuned for September's craft....you're going to love it! I can't wait! I'm so excited to make it myself and show all you crafty girls.

Have a fabulous summer and be saving up for September's GNO craft, it will probably cost you $2.

A set of 3 Stars!

All supplies will be provided!

Wood cut out for a set of 3 stars

paint (red, white, and blue)

Cost: $5/set of 3 stars!

The pictures show 2 different sets of 3.

Set 1: 1 small, 1 medium, 1 large

Set 2: 2 smalls, 1 large

You can choose to paint these however you want. In the pictures shown above you can do a multi-colored set, or plain white, or plain red, or plain blue, or one of each. When you sign up let me know the set and colors of paint you want! Please let me know by Wednesday May 27th!!!

MAY'S GNO RESULTS

We were small in numbers this month but that just left more cookies and pizza and breadsticks for those that did come! Everyone was able to make AT LEAST 1 headband and watch the movie TWILIGHT! So what is an ideal girls night out for me? #1 no kids, #2 food, #3 Edward! I think we had the ultimate GNO for me:)

I'll be posting JUNE'S GNO within a week, so stay tuned and think (4th of July decoration)!

We will be watching Twilight on a BIG SCREEN and eating pizza and snacks while doing this months craft.

This months Craft....

REVERSIBLE HEADBANDS!!!

COST= $5

You will need to bring your own material and thread. Each head band takes 2 pieces of 3 inch wide material. (100% cotton) I got my pieces anywhere from $.38-$.50. With those 2 pieces of material you will be able to make 2 reversible headbands. The size is adjustable, so if you want to make one for your little head or your little girl you can do it!

This is a craft for beginners!!! There will be a few sewing machines available if you don't have one. If you do own a machine please bring it for yourself to use. Also, if you have your own pins and scissors bring them for yourself.

We will be setting the tables up facing the movie, so come ready to watch Twilight, eat yummy pizza, and sew awesome headbands.

FYI:  I am printing my photo's black and white and then painting my wood black, then sanding the edges!!!

This month GNO will be held at Chelsie Brown's sister's home in Nibley.  Chelsie will have room for 3-4 more girls to car pool.  This craft will only take about a half hour, but with snacks and chit-chatting, plan on 1 hour.  Also, if you would let Chelsie or Audrie know if you are planning to attend and how many photo magnets you want to make, please let us know by March 25th!

March's GNO Craft

paint brushes (I'll provide what I have, but feel free to bring some of your own)

This craft is going to take a little time.  I would plan on 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete it.  Don't worry girls...we WILL have American Idol playing LOUD on the TV.  I need everyone who is interested in this months craft to sign up no later than Feb, 26.  This is so I can get the appropriate amount of  supplies and enough wood cut out.

FYI:  I wouldn't wear something that you would cry if it got paint on it!!!
